Opps, forgot something...

Anyone who's really interested in particles apparently vanishing from our universe in a way that doesn't consume nor release much energy, you might want to re-read the preceding blog, and then take a look at the wikipedia reference to the Bose-Einstein Condensate in the few paragraphs preceding footnote 12.

That footnote, of course, is the seminal "Bose-Einstein Condensation in a Dilute Gas"; the First 70 Years and Some Recent Experiments", Cornell, Eric A and Wieman, Carl E, Nobel Lecture, December 8, 2001.

Ah, this is right after the part with all of the math about "quantum vortexes".
